La Galleria is the most prestigious apartment at the Castello di Montegufoni. It occupies a whole wing. On the ground floor there is a large, beautiful living room with a decorated vaulted ceiling with frescoes done by Pucci in 1700. Six huge French windows overlook the stylized Italian garden begun in 1600. On this floor is a big bathroom with shower.

On the mezzanine floor there is an adequate kitchen, a separate dining room and a classic balcony having dining facilities. It oversees one of the most picturesque courtyards of the castle. The second floor has four double bedrooms, a large bathroom (with a fireplace), and a small bath with WC.

Terms: Deposit 30% upon confirmation; final payment due 8 weeks prior to travel. Final cleaning, charged against the security deposit, is 1.200 000 Lire. As with all vacation rental properties, it is expected that guests will leave the premises tidy and with refuse removed. Central heating 40 000 daily. Linens, electric and gas included. Please bring your own beach towel.

Castello di Montegufoni has a reception open during business hours. Visitors may get tourist information and purchase products (olive oil, wine and produce) from the estate. There is a swimming pool on the castle grounds (Italian law requires that children under 14 be accompanied by parents). There is a bar and also a taverna, the latter serves reserved meals three times a week.
